Day 26 Oct 5
23 kms - A very wet, rainy and muddy day. We started and finished in the rain. We walked from Hospital de Orbigo to Murias de Rechivaldo. 
As we walked we could see the upcoming mountains in the distance. Tomorrow we begin our climb.

Day 25 Oct 4 Leon to Hospital de Orbigo
Today we walked 25 kms from the outskirts of Leon - La Virgen del Camino to Hospital de Orbigo. It was a rainy and foggy day. We walked through many muddy areas. 
Along the way we passed a sign that said we had 298 kms to Santiago.

Day 24 Oct 3 Mansilla de las Mulas to Leon
Walked to the outskirts of Leon and then bused in to the centre. Made up our kms walking and exploring the city. On our way to Leon walked to Puente de Villarente know for the impressive bridge you can see in the background of this picture. 
Roberta stopped to play the harp along the way.
Day 23.Oct 2 El Burgo Ranero to Mansilla de las Mulas
A little over 18 kms today before we reached our destination. Started very cold at 5 degrees and only warmed up a little with the sun. Nice cool breeze for walking. 
It is cold in the morning.
